To meet this ambition, the building hosts a number of collective spaces and facilities. Some are specifically aimed at the Audio Visual industry like a studio, a preview room and a demo-reel library. Others are more general, such as a large meeting room, small pantries and a lunch area. All these facilities (except for the studio) are clustered in a volume located at the core of the building called ‘the Villa’. This volume also contains the vertical circulation system and sanitary facilities. Following the cliché that the most creative ideas do not emerge in an office but in a comfortable setting such as under the shower or laying on the couch, it was decided that some of this homey atmosphere would be introduced to the place where work is done. Therefore, in contrast with the office space the atmosphere in the Villa is informal and each function room has a different materialization. It allows tenants to virtually escape their office environment for a while and, as a result, meet others.
