The complex comprises five distinct building parts, including side wings and gym halls, which vary in height and layout. These differences inspired a diverse mix of 44 unique homes in five typologies: apartments, maisonettes, Park Homes, city villas, and penthouses. Thoughtful reuse of the structure and sustainable building practices, such as passive heating and an on-site urban mine, ensure the project is environmentally responsible. Surrounding the development, the redesigned Bataafse Park echoes the building’s principles—preserving historical features while introducing new, nature-inclusive elements. Functioning as a communal backyard, the park fosters a sense of connection and shared responsibility among residents.
