JFK Smartlofts is a transformation of a former municipal district office into a contemporary, sustainable multi-residential complex. What was once an unremarkable building has been reimagined through a design process that leveraged its robust concrete frame and central atrium, creating an architecturally striking and highly functional living environment. Central to this transformation was the active involvement of future residents, who helped shape both private and communal spaces to suit modern lifestyles. The redesign introduced 36 efficient, flexible Smartlofts alongside generous shared areas, all organized around the atrium, which now serves as the vibrant core of the building, connecting residents to their homes, facilities, and expansive outdoor terraces.
