Tehdassaari sits at the heart of the Nokia area, a region shaped by three waves of industrial transformation. When the last factories fell silent in the early 2000s, the buildings were left behind. Space&Matter led a participatory process with local partners to reimagine the site as an innovation district for circularity — grounding a fourth industrial revolution, this time built on regeneration rather than extraction.
